Men's Walk 71

September 10 - 13, 2026

It is with a grateful heart and deep humility that I have the privilege of serving as Lay Director for Men’s Walk #71, occurring September 10 – 13, 2026. As I reflect on the journey God has brought me through — as a husband, father, brother, and a man who simply desires to follow Jesus more closely — I am reminded that every step of this preparation is not about me, but about Him. Every phone call, every prayer, every team member, and every pilgrim is part of a story that God has already written for this weekend.

The theme for Men’s Walk #71 is “Jesus Is Everything.”

Our scripture for the weekend is John 14:6, where Jesus declares:  “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

In a world that constantly pulls men in a hundred different directions — through work, responsibilities, distractions, and the weight we often quietly carry — this weekend will be a reminder that Jesus is not just part of our life… Jesus is everything. He is our foundation, our hope, our peace, and our salvation. My prayer is that every man who encounters Christ in such a real and personal way during Walk 71 that he leaves knowing with certainty that Jesus truly is everything.

Our weekend song, Reckless Love by Cory Asbury, beautifully captures the heart of this message. It reminds us that there is no shadow God will not light up, no mountain He will not climb up, and no wall He will not tear down to reach His sons. That kind of relentless love is what changes lives, and I believe many men will experience that love in a powerful way during this Walk.

One thing the Lord has continually shown me is that the greatest strength of this community is found in the simple faithfulness of ordinary people willing to serve. Our 4th Day is absolutely amazing! 4th Day serve through prayer. 4th Day serve through agape. 4th Day serve through serving meals. 4th Day serve in many ways throughout the weekend.  Those acts of obedience become the hands and feet of Jesus to someone who needs to see Him.

I want to personally ask our 4th Day community to begin praying now for the pilgrims, the team, and for every unseen detail of this weekend. Please pray that hearts would be softened, burdens would be lifted, chains would be broken, and lives would be forever changed by the presence of Jesus. Prayer is the most powerful gift you can offer, and I know from my walk that the prayers of others often carry us when we do not realize how much we need them.

If God places it on your heart, I also invite you to help by providing agape, serving during meals, attending candlelight, or sponsoring a man you know who may need this weekend. Sometimes the man who appears strongest on the outside is the one who most needs to be reminded that he does not have to walk alone.

I am deeply thankful for a community that continues to love, serve, and pour into others so faithfully. The men of Walk #71 may never fully know how many people helped make their weekend possible, but Heaven will know. And I believe eternity will reveal the fruit of every prayer and every act of love offered in Christ’s name.

May we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we prepare for what He has in store for our lives.

Very Respectfully,
Garry Wieneke

Women's Walk 71

September 17 - 20, 2026

It is an honor and very humbling to serve as your lay director for Women’s Walk 71. It is a role I do not take lightly. Walk 71 will be held September 17-20, 2026.

Throughout scripture, God did not choose people based on perfection, popularity, talent or status. He calls those with willing hearts. Some are strong leaders, some are quiet encouragers, some are prayer warriors, and some simply show up ready to serve. God chose these exact people to be the team of Walk 71. Together we are united by faith, love and obedience. It is our prayer that we will use our individual gifts to serve the pilgrims of Walk 71. Our hope is each pilgrim leaves the campground on Sunday feeling empowered and changed, bringing glory to God in her community and church.

The theme for Walk 71 is “Peace Be Still” and the scripture is John 4:14: “Whoever drinks of the water I give will never thirst again”. The theme song is “Peace Be Still” by Hope Darst. The theme picture shows the beautiful encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. When Jesus chose to reach out to this woman, He broke down all barriers to provide the living water only Jesus can offer. He offered peace, redemption and, spiritual renewal–replacing shame and emptiness. It was at this moment that she found purpose and worth. It is my hope the pilgrims of Walk 71 know God is full of love and will never stop pursuing them.

4th Day-you play an extremely important part of Walk 71. We ask for non-stop praying for this weekend. I also invite you to help with agape, meals, sponsorship, and attending candlelight. This entire weekend would not be possible without you! We are truly thankful for everything you do to help keep the Emmaus Community alive and growing. Should you feel led to serve in any way, do not hesitate to reach out to one of our Heads below.

So thankful,
Charlotte Stephenson

Women's Walk 71A

September 24 - 27, 2026

I am humbled, honored, and blessed to have the privilege to serve as Lay Director for Women’s Walk 71A. The walk weekend is September 24-27, 2026. I have already experienced so many blessings on this journey! I have been in awe of how He is bringing this team together to serve Him and the pilgrims that will be attending. My heart for Walk 71A is for everything to be from Him and for Him.

The theme for Walk 71A is “Abundance: Living in the Overflow.” The scripture is Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV), “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The key to this scripture is “according to the power that works in us.” The power that was present at the resurrection is the same power that works in us! I want the ladies of Walk 71A to know they have the power of the resurrected Christ living in them, and because of that, He can do exceedingly abundantly more in their lives. He desires for us all to live abundant, victorious lives. The abundance He came to give us is spiritual. My prayer is the team and pilgrims of Walk 71A realize we are Living in the Overflow of the resurrection and are empowered to live an abundant life for Him!

The theme song is “Able” by Phil Wickham. This song will emphasize the theme for the weekend.

Our Fourth Day community makes such an impact on the walk weekends. Fourth Day is used in many capacities to show the love of Jesus. I ask you to consider how you might be the hands and feet of Jesus to the pilgrims of Walk 71A. This might include signing the prayer chart, providing agape (bed, table, or green agape), serving at meals, attending candlelight, or sponsoring a woman on the weekend. Please join us in making an eternal difference in the lives of these women.

I would ask that you please pray for the team, the pilgrims, and every detail of this walk. God moves mightily during the Emmaus weekends because of the prayers of Fourth Day. When we pray in power, He will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think!

Please feel free to contact the team heads listed below if you feel led to serve in any way on Walk 71A.

In His power,
Larisa Moreland
